Pop up opportunity on Old Street, Shoreditch (nr Hoxton Square)

An empty property (158 sq metres) with large street level windows on Old Street, Shoreditch (near Hoxton Square) is available for a pop-up shop, event or installation and so we're looking for proposals.

It is only available within the next 2.5 months and any proposals need to be ready to install now. A possible theme may be 'Things are not as they seem - look closely. Things old and dead have new life.'

Proposals should highlight any community benefits of your project and possibly even have a live element for the shop windows. Currently we are including textile artists who are refashioning old clothes into new and digital printing onto old fabrics to refresh/reuse them.

Proposals should outline your project, how you would fund it, the time you would like the space for and resources you would contribute to improve the premises.

This process is an artwork in itself and responds to the people, place
and materials/books we use.
