- What's your interest in this area?
- I am just starting up business as a fashion designer and need a nice and interesting studio space to work in!
- What are you working on right now?
- The pre-collection to be launched September this year. The brand is being officially launched in February with a full womenswear collection for autumn/winter 2011.
- What help do you need?
- I need a space where I can work and employ people to help make the clothes and run the business, a space also where I can showcase pieces to the public from mid September onwards to test the market for the launch in Feb. I also teach handcraft sewing and dressmaking classes so the space would be used for that too.
So I need a space, some willing sewers (or willing to learn to sew), and help with the day-to-day running of the business.

- Sewing/mending/design ideas/pattern cutting/general handycrafts...

In answer to your hidden question, the best way to get involved in Brixton Village is to come along to our weekly meet-ups every Tuesday at 6.15 at the Dogstar
